Named in honor of central Minnesota farmers' political protest against high-voltage power lines, The Bolt Weevils play original folk music, infusing old traditions with modern lyrics and harmonies and stunning group harmonies. Each member writes and leads songs, giving the music a collaborative quality. Everyone picks up multiple instruments, producing a shift of sounds throughout the show.
